Books that Inspire me….Part 3

As a young girl I was draw to the words of Shel SIlverstein. His tone was whimsical and different. It inspired me to write poetry as a young child. I even wrote a poem about the color Black and won a poetry contest when I was 9. I think the prize was a book of some sort. These are a few of his books that I loved reading. I suggest these for any child that might have a thing for the written word.
